My Walgreens Trip 7-31 & a Vent!

One of the annoying things about couponing is that sometimes your trips just don't go as planned. This morning I got up and got all my coupons together to head to Walmart & Walgreens. Everything went pretty good at Walgreens except I lost a $.50 coupon somewhere-- but that was no big deal. But my Walmart trip was a different story. I decided to pick up my four papers there instead of making a trip somewhere else because I have just come to terms with the fact that my $1 or less Sunday papers are no where to be found anymore. So I picked up four assuming they were $1.50 and I just checked my receipt and they were $1.75-- so annoying especially when just a few weeks ago I could have bought two for that price! Then I was planning on getting some FREE (plus overage) fruit and I realized my coupons expired yesterday. They didn't have the $.88 carrots I wanted so I bought the $1.25 carrots which rang up for $1.88 I had a $2/2 coupon but still- it's just annoying when you have a trip planned and it just doesn't go like you want it.  Then my cashier was being a real PITA about my coupons because she apparently doesn't like couponers. She searched the receipt for every item to make sure I bought it and then was trying to tell me I couldn't use certain coupons. Oh well - I win some and lose some it's just annoying when it doesn't go like I wanted... anyway thanks for listening to  my vent =)

Like I said my Walgreens trip went pretty great so I was pretty excited. I was glad I went this morning because for whatever reason my store only had about 7 packs of the $5 Cottonelle and after I got my 2 there was only 1 left.
