Since becoming a stay at home mom one of my goals was to learn to cook better-- actually who am I kidding? I could barely cook at all. Now, they weren’t saying that their friends were lazy (we prefer to view them as “time challenged”) but they wanted an easier way. That’s when the fun began. Debbie converted all of those good fresh ingredients to dried and they were in business.
In the beginning they focused on ways to make quick and easy pasta dishes that would rival those in the best restaurants. As they have grown and added products they still keep in mind everything must be quick and easy as well as healthy. And last but certainly not least the flavors must be outstanding. After all, “you can get average in your grocery store”!

Plentiful Pantry sent me their Asian Pasta Salad to try 

This is exactly what the package looks like including the teeny bottle of EVOO =). The only ingredients needed to finish off this delicious recipe are:
3 tbs. hot water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 red pepper, diced
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained & chopped
2 cups cooked chicken, diced (optional)

I made our Asian Pasta Salad with the chicken and it was delicious. This tasted just like something that came from a restaurant. I made it during the day and put it in the fridge so I could serve it as a pasta salad but it can also be served as a hot stir fry! I look forward to the opportunity to try out their other flavors like the Buffalo Wing Pasta Salad!!

Kiki's Fashions Maternity Clothing Review & Giveaway !!!

Trying to find maternity clothing is hard task all by itself- but trying to find something that is affordable as well is another obstacle. Kiki's Fashions fits both of those criteria with cute and adorable maternity clothing at reasonable prices! Since I am not currently pregnant (I spent most of 2009 & 2010 pregnant!!) my friend volunteered to help with this review! Here is what she had to say about Kiki's Fashions:

"When I saw the prices, and material of the fabrics, I can honestly say I was not all that enthused about shopping with Kiki's Fashion.  I had previously browsed through the website, and decided not to purchase anything, even though the prices are better than great.  When the opportunity came to try something out, I said of course, who doesn't want to try something free?  Well when I received the package in the mail, I was so pleasantly surprised.  The shirt came wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve for it's protection.  The fabric was not at all what I had imagined.  It's actually very nice and luxurious.  The weave of the fabric was perfect for a breezy warm day, it allows just the right amount of air flow, without letting any of your under garments show through.  I got a Medium, according to the chart size, and I believe for the third trimester, it fits PERFECT.  Nice tummy room, the back tends to fit longer so if you like/need to cover your backside, it is definitely do-able.  The elastics that hold up the top and bottom are the perfect stretch.  They are not too tight, but just tight enough to hold the shirt perfectly in place.  I paired the shirt with basic white capris, and received many compliments.  I would also wear the shirt on a nice night out with a skirt or a nice pair of slacks.  I loved this shirt, was so glad that I got to review the clothing, and would definitely shop from here from now on!  Can't wait to order something for my baby shower!  Thank you Kiki's Fashion for allowing us to have an affordable, yet classy and fashionable option during pregnancy, as we all know fashionable is so rare for maternity clothes! "

 My friend also sent me some photos of her wearing the Purple Smocked Strapless Maternity top. It does not seem like this color is available at this time but they do have it in Pink, White & Gray too! I wish I knew about Kiki's Fashions while I was pregnant it would have been great to have been able to find some great maternity clothes at awesome prices!!

Spongables Body Wash In A Sponge Review & Giveaway!!!

I don't know about you but sometimes my shower looks like chaos with all the sponges, loofahs, body washes, shampoos etc. I was lucky enough to try out of the Spongeable Body Wash in a Sponge! They sent me two of their products to try. The first was their Full Sized Shower Gel in a Sponge good for 20 washes. It was a nice lavender scent but not overwhelming. My husband could use it and not come out smelling "girly". The other was their travel size Body Wash in a Sponge that was the same scent. 

My favorite part about these sponges was that they both have an exfoliating side so that you can scrub those dead skin cells off - which I LOVED- and the other side was smooth so you could cleanse and moisturize! Another great thing about this product is that it is not slippery. No worrying about it flying out of your hand while trying to use it in the shower or bath. 

They have a ton of different products available here including a "Ducky Duo" good for kids 3 and up. 

Another product I would love to try is their "A Treat For Feet" which is spa-worthy TLC for tired feet it has  a soft side cleanses and soothes, while a scruffy-textured side massages and exfoliates rough skin.
