I am obsessed with bows! My Little Girl!

If you have seen any of my Facebook posts lately you might have learned about my new obsession BOWS! We really have been so lucky with both of our kids where we have not had to buy them much in the clothing department. Well as lucky as that makes me it still makes me sad because I always find cute clothes to buy my kids but they really don't need them. Hence the start of my new obsession, bows, but not just any bows- custom made bows from My Little Girl, LLC. 

I found out about My Little Girl through Facebook. One of my Facebook friends "liked" them and I decided to check it out and see what exactly it was. Well thank you friend (ps my husband does not thank you-wink wink-). Anyway This obsession started in November and since then our bow collection has grown. My Little Girl is such an awesome company. I have always had the opportunity to deal with the owner Jessica and she has always given me the best service. I have sent her pictures of outfits or dresses that I want a bow to match and she always delivers and I am always thrilled!!

Well yesterday I picked up my latest order 4 new bows (pictured at the top). A Gator bow, a super cute hot pink and zebra striped bow, a purple and neon green bow to match the 1950s table cloth dress we got for Haleigh @ an antique show, and a special baby shower present for a friend who is expecting (I covered it with the piece of paper because obviously I have not given it to her yet).

Publix & Winn Dixie Baby Clubs = FREE coupons

I am obsessed with Publix Baby Club. Once you join Publix Baby Club you will receive coupons & newsletters up until the child's second birthday. What is great about the coupons is that they are Publix coupons which means you can combine them with manufacture coupons to get free or really cheap stuff. Now another thing is that the coupons they send you are not only for baby items. My parents are signed up for Publix Baby Club and they keep the coupons for produce, milk, cheese things like that and send me the rest (Thanks Mom & Dad) Also some of the coupons you receive are for FREE items. The first set of coupons usually comes with FREE coupons for items like lotion, sanitizer, alcohol & baby cereal.

Another Baby Club I just recently joined is Winn Dixie's Baby Club. They also send out awesome coupons. They also send out store coupons that you can combine with manufacture coupons to get some really great deals- You can also use these coupons @ Publix if you store accepts competitor coupons (most do).

This is one of my favorite coupons. Formula can be VERY expensive and this coupon can get your really cheap formula. I know at my Publix the Ready to Feed Similac is $4.19 a bottle so after this coupon it is only $1.19.

My Publix Trip 1/19/10

Today was the last day of the sale- and although I did not think it was that great of a sale I still did pretty well considering my shopping trip did not go exactly as planned. Starting off I called JJ and met him at Toyota to drop Hunter off with him because he was exhausted and had not napped all day. I figured I would take Haleigh with me because she usually sleeps the entire time--- note the word usually today she screamed the ENTIRE time we were in the store. So I rushed through the store and did not pay attention to the pizza's I bought and instead of buying the BOGO Red Baron pizzas I bought 2 that cost $6.99 each. I did have 2 $1 coupons so that did lower my OOP (out of pocket) but instead of them being $2.49 each they were $5.99 each. My other "issue" was the Kimberly Clark Rebate I was trying to complete-- basically you have to spend $35 on Kimberly Clark products in one trip and you will get a $10 Publix gift card. Well orginally I had planned on buying the Poise liners that were $3.19 but they did not have them and yes I could have just done the deal later but I had all my coupons ready so instead of getting my overage from the deal I opted to get the more expensive $5.59 pads- So I spent an extra 9.60 -- So my point of all this babbling is that my total should have been $16.60 less -- oh well you win some and lose some!
